With the exception of 1992, the US$ 10,000 buy-in tournament increased in prize pool year-over-year from its start in 1970 until 2007 (the latter a result of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006, which reduced the number of players winning their seats via online play).

Event 2 results[edit]

Where did you find the results for event 2? They're not listed on Cardplayer.com. The payout structure looks strange. Entheta 16:56, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Center aligned text?[edit]

Someone changed the tables to align the text to the center. Personally, I think it looks better when it's aligned to the left, as on 2006 World Series of Poker Results. What do others think? I guess the most important thing is that we're consistent. Entheta 19:03, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

More comprehensive results[edit]

why did someone remove my efforts on full results. i personally believe these are relevant nformation poker enthusiastics will want to know —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Banacek555 (talk • contribs).

If you are referring to the 'fall of world champions', the article will be too long if we add that info for every event. That information is trivia, and this article is about the final table results. For full results, there are other websites people can find this info. Compare 2006 World Series of Poker results. Entheta 13:41, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Aside from being way excessively trivial, it was also factually wrong. Alllen Cunningham is not a main event world champion for instance. 2005 21:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

ok - granted but how about the final showdown hands - that will be interesting for historical purposes in future not only winning hand by also winning poker hands

Event 28 Results[edit]

The $3,000 NL event was suspended when they reached the final 10 players last night, although it was still relatively early in the evening. It appears the WSOP and ESPN are content to call this the final table with 10 players, rather than the usual 9. Should we, therefore, add the 10th-place finisher to our results page? Stsharp413 14:19, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Event 31 Results[edit]

Obviously the final table of the heads-up championship will only be two players, but how many finishers should we list for the 'final table' payouts? I vote for the quarterfinalists (final 8) onward. Any other suggestions? Stsharp413 14:21, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Event 33[edit]

It's a $1500 event. The article said it had 293 buy-ins, but the top prize was $464,867 ??Can anyone check on this? I don't know where to look for the right info. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.129.69.211 (talk • contribs).

Yes, but it's a re-buy event, [[1]]
  • Buy-In: $1,500
  • Entries: 293 Rebuys/Add-ons: 880
  • Total Prize Pool: $1,684,305 ▪◦▪≡ЅiREX≡Talk 17:06, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Duh.... Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.242.1.33 (talk • contribs)

Seniors event[edit]

Does anyone know the minimum age limit for the seniors event? Entheta 20:21, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

From what I read here I would say 55. ▪◦▪≡ЅiREX≡Talk 02:57, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
